Teacher Training, Adjustment Clinic, and Practice Intensive

In this training, we will use the primary, second & third series as the back drop to develop your personal practice and teaching skills. Each day you will have the opportunity to work intensively and integrally with one on one guidance as the building and integration of good practice principles first and foremost, underlies your ability to share the teachings with others. Additionally, our week together will focus on developing skills needed to teach a traditionally. You will learn the application of safe, therapeutic & energetic adjustment, have the opportunity to both teach and assist our mysore practice. As good nutrition supports our practice, a highlight of this training will be an Ayurvedic cooking class providing us the opportunity to cook and eat together.

Each day will begin with meditation followed by mysore practice. Each afternoon will include a series of modules applicable to developing both practice and teaching skills.

This training is for those wanting to learn to teach traditionally, teachers wishing to develop enhance their teaching skills and, practitioners wishing to fine tune and develop their practice. Limited to 12 participants.

Where to Stay

There are many seasonal residents offering Airbnb accommodations in the village and surrounding area - average rental rate $50-$75 a night, based on three sharing a beautiful seaside house. If you prefer single accommodation, there are also options. Camping and the rental of a small bunk house is available on-site during the summer months. The town of Lunenburg, fifteen minutes away, also offers many Airbnb’s and bed & breakfast options.

Mysore Summer Camp

During this fourday intensive, you will participate in daily mysore classes offering you the opportunity to work on your own personal practice and, learn more about the benefits of pranayama. We will dig deeper into the practice with an afternoon conference while allowing plenty of time during the weekend for beach fun, swimming, surfing & nature walks. Camping/glamping available on site/ one spot in bunk house, cost additional.

Cost

10-1pm daily sessions + one afternoon clinic
$200 includes all yoga sessions + lunch
