‘Optimize Your health ’


TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH WITH ‘CORE’

In CORE I, our foundational program, we work over 5 sessions, learning to optimize health through personalized diet and lifestyle change. 

Our work starts with a health timeline, an exploration of health vision and doing a thorough diet and lifestyle assessment.  This component sets the stage for making sustainable changes helping us see how past/current diet and lifestyle patterns may be impacting health. 

Next step is a big dive into FOOD/DIET, teaching you how to connect your dietary patterns to health outcomes. We explore macro-nutrient balance, the importance of eating the rainbow, key nutrients that re-set the body, how to use food as medicine. Introducing the Core Food Plan, a sustainable and lifetime approach to eating, you will not only learn what to eat, but why you should.

Finally, we look beyond diet, exploring other PILLARS OF HEALTH that support health. How are you sleeping, managing stress, are you moving in a way that supports your heath goals and healthy aging, why mind-set matters.

Overall, our work is about creating new sustainable lifestyle habits in the direction of health - small steps can elicit impactful changes & more than we think!   Part education, part health coaching, this CORE program gives you practical tools to revitalize health and providing a road map for personalized lifestyle change.

CORE II

On-going sessions after Core - digging a bit deeper !.

CORE II

In CORE II, we build/tweak on our earlier work in CORE I. These additional sessions allow us to seque in a more personalized way, taking a deeper dive into your diet and lifestyle plan, adjusting to meet new goals & while providing you with on-going support.

Here we explore how to use diet to meet your specific health goals - exploring an anti- inflammatory lifestyle including how to eat to regulate insulin (the culprit behind inflammation and fat storage especially as we age), making improvements to cardio-metabolic health, cognitive function and cellular health. All factors are important to health optimization as we age. We also take a deeper dive into other lifestyle factors - in what areas would you like to dig deeper: sleep optimization, stress management, effective movement techniques that support aging. What about nutrient supplementation, is this needed and if so, what best supports health, your health. Finally, I also like to stay open minded in these sessions - what new areas would you like to explore?

Diet and lifestyle modification are known to be effective therapies for many health issues - blood sugar dysregulation, cardio metabolic issues (high blood pressure/cholesterol/triglycerides), chronic stress, anxiety, sleep disorder, sarcopenia, inflammatory conditions, autoimmune disease, skin issues, menopause/post-menopause, digestive concerns…

Whether you have a health question/concern, have been diagnosed with a specific health condition or, only wish to tweak your current protocols to optimize health, you may book a single session to discuss how dietary and lifestyle protocols can support your specific concern. Any changes are always intended to complement current medical advice.
