Our annual five day intensive includes daily morning mysore classes, w/ pranayama practice & in-depth discussion of philosophy. During the afternoon, we dive deep into asana therapy (primary & intermediate), the application of vinyasa in practice as well as the art of therapeutic assists and teaching approaches for beginner and advanced students.

This workshop is for advanced practitioners and teachers who wish to develop their practice and study the ashtanga yoga method in more depth. Teachers will have the opportunity to assist in mysore and practice adjustments in a live session with their peers. This workshop has limited enrolment of 10 students.

for teachers and practitioners teachers who wish to take a deeper dive into honing traditional teaching skills and mentorship.

Advanced Practicum

an on-line opportunity to work in a new way to deepen your practice and hone your teaching skills. Offerings include a teachers discussion group/master classes/ mysore & pranayama work with an on-going mentorship.  This program is intended to enhance and support other workshop and trainings, allowing us to work in a more structured format throughout the year .    

Advanced Practicum is open to both long time practitioners and teachers..

This program is open to all students who have previously taken our May workshop and Mysore workshops.

Program Details

Teachers discussion Forum (offered via zoom)  

An opportunity to discuss teaching best practices/philosophy/ personal experience with your fellow peers. Topics: Teaching & Practice Methodology/ Best Practices/ Shared Teaching Experiences/ Collaborative discussion. 75//90 minute sessions offered bi-monthly (every two months), weekend session

Master classes: Practice, Education & Discussion (teachers& practitioners)

  • Vinyasa & it’s Practical Application - the patterned sequence of breathing for practicing primary/intermediate traditional method    

  • Traditional Ashtanga yoga - primary &intermediate as David and Nancy were originally taught w/ discussion

  • Classic & Alternative practices for Exploring Ashtanga’s Asana Series (Sequencing & Vinyasa Variation)

  • Advanced Series - the next step …is there a way in for all

Pranayama intensive - workshop followed by committed self practice

How does one develop a sustainable pranayama practice? How important is its practice along side asana? How may the Ashtanga pranayama series be made more accessible? Does the current science support the efficacy of this ancient tradition?

Weekend mysore Classes (6 Weekend afternoons scheduled bi-monthly, for teachers and Practitioners)

These classes are intended to support your practice outside of mysore workshops and include a full led pranayama with discussion.
